Jobe Watson not really from nowhere but he is much maligned and his foot skills have improved 10 fold over the break and his fitness is up aswell. Expecting much improvement this year.

Agreed, his foot disposal in the first NAB game was elite. He'll give the brownlow a shake if he can keep it up.

Heath Grundy - been ok thus far, would love him to play up foward and start kicking goals on a regular basis. can take a good mark to.

Based on absolute talent, Andrew Walker. So much potential and fire power, he could be anything.

But based on team needs and for us to be an overall better side, Adam Hartlett without question. Get us a proper CHF and we look so much better.

Michael Jamison to do his best Matty Scarlett impersonation and hold down Full Back whilst consistently beating the best opposition forward.

Jason Laycock.

I will be amazed if Laycock plays 5 games this year. If he did that would only emphasise the drastic shortfall in talls the bombers have.
If Gumbleton stays fit Laycock will be getting the Saturday Age for the employment section.

There is so much wrong with this its not funny.

a) Carlton's talls are far and away the worst in the league, Laycock would be the best ruckman at your club. That is fact.

b) Gumbleton is a forward. Laycock is a ruckman. The only person who can potentially take Laycocks spot is Bellchambers, and if Laycock wasnt injured he would probably play every game in 09 as our second ruckman.
