I agree that the Allies should have kept rolling into the Soviet Union and dealt with them in 1945.

Many on the allies side actually recommended it and considered them the real enemy.

Would have set communism (which is the opposite side of the same coin to fascism imo) back a very very long time.

Instead we had them weave a trail of death and destruction through just about every continent on earth for the next 50 years.

Also , Russia invaded the Northern parts of Poland as war broke out.
The Poles at first thought they were there to help fight the Germans, they were in for a shock !

Trump has almost no grasp on history, but I guess he is largely preaching to the uneducated who seem to hang on his
every word.

As opposed to the U.S. who haven't invaded or killed anyone?

Brown Brothers Harriman funded Hitler's party before the war.

They probably wouldn't have been a major party without their money.

They wanted Hitler to go head to head with the Bolsheviks.

America never actually declared war on Germany.

Prescott Bush( George Snr's grandfather) worked for Brown Brothers Harriman.

There's History, and then there's History.

I assume your point is the Americans are as bad or maybe even worse ?
Not sure what any of this has to do with the original point, but I’m happy to share histories with you.
I can guarantee you this , both you and me have a better grasp on history than the “leader of the free world “

As imperfect as the western world is, put me firmly in their camp.

This is what you are alluding too ?
Industrialist and global financial institutions for the most part have tunnel vision, that is, what’s good for the company.
The rest of the country are just going about the business of surviving.

Right that does it. I’m never buying another bottle of Brown Brothers again.
