It's the off-season, we're all excited and we need something to give us hope and excitement for next year.

This is a thread for all of your less modest expectations of what Hawthorn will achieve.

For me - I'm predicting a very big year from Rhan Hooper. Absolutely loved Willo but I will lay it down now that I expect Rhan to be a bigger contributor to Hawthorn than Willo was the last two years.

More goals, more tackles, bigger performance in bigger games.

I'm expecting Nathan Carroll to not only hold down full back, but also to dominate from centre half forward at the same time.

And in his spare time, I expect him to do some important work on the Haldron Collider.

Geez some of these predictions are ridiculous!!

Back to reality folks.......I expect Lance Franklin will break 2 long standing records this year: the 1st being number of goals in a single game when he boots 20 goals against Richmond and the 2nd when he surpasses the record number of goals in a single season of 150 by around round 15.

I hope the laser beams dont burn his mo off:)

I thought Carroll working there was the whole reason the world hasn't ended yet?

As for expectations, looking forward to Ellis ripping it up next year! Go son!!!

Nothing like a positive attitude I say...

Buddy, Ruffy and Dowler all to kick 100+ goals for the year
Hodge and Mitchell tie for the Brownlow
Shoenmakers holds Fev and JB goal-less on his own vs Brissie
Hawks beat Collingwood in th GF by 99 points:thumbsu:

Im looking forward to a number of things... but i have a real soft spot for when Shoey plays on Hurley and towels him up... :thumbsu:
That'll be awesome. Here's Schoey's lineup for next year:

Round 1 - Jack Watts: 0 goals (already done it once in the VFL)
Round 2 - Tom Hawkins: 1 goal (although it hit the post and it was from a down-field free kick for a Selwood high tackle)
Round 3 - Barry Hall: 0 goals, 2 weeks for when Barry's frustration boils over
Round 4 - Travis Cloke: 0 goals... AGAIN
Round 5 - Robbie Tarrant: 0 goals (but that's because he's a nobody)
Round 6 - Michael "Cheap shot" Hurley: 0 goals (Should be the best of the lot with cries like "Ohhh but Hurley's a defender anyway...")
Round 7 - Josh Kennedy: 0 goals
Round 8 - Jack Riewoldt: 0 goals
Round 9 - Lachie Henderson: 0 goals

Nev- that's 9 rounds of perfection... :)
