yeah I dont like driving in vic park either for some reason. its a cool place though, wouldn't mind living there and being able to just walk up to the main strip

In b4 Silent Alarm diatribe about how it's nothing special.

I like Vic Park, good mix. Unfortunately a few people are getting carried away and trying to sell houses there like they are waterfront mansions. Sorry but a 3 bedroom house on a triplex block near Carlisle station isn't worth $900k.

Looks like this place (https://www.realestate.com.au/sold/property-house-wa-victoria+park-128189922) finally sold. Owners were on Selling Houses Australia. Sunk $300k into the place without doing the kitchen then the TV show came to the rescue. So $630k + stamp duty + $300k + costs of the TV reno - selling costs... I'd say they're conservatively $100-150k down on the deal.

I have no idea why people choose to catch public transport

It happens all too often and despite this, public transport fails to provide adequate security and safety
What annoys me most is that on a Wednesday morning at 8am there is 15 transit guards checking smart riders at claisebrook station, but on a train by yourself at 10pm and there isnt one to be seen.
