0.75 thumbs up. Strong recession with bearish engulfing sentiment. I expect a few low volume days until the fundamental analysis of the business improves.

From all recent reports it sounds like it's a clear thumbs down at the moment. No point messing around with part amputated digits.

Feel Caesar

The sports bar is still pretty good! But haven't had a meal there for a couple of the months. The cheese steak was disgusting.
As cheese steak probably would be

Replaced with des' minivans.

When I was in high school we once managed to get the driver of a Des' Minibus we were in to drag race an old lady. Good times.

So no more of this? I still fap looking at this picture

Gone.

The only 'novelty' item they have now is basically a really shitty hotdog stacked with jalapeno peppers. They call it "the really hotdog" or something.

Not really (about the name).

That would be Basa. A lot of the Basa imported into Australia is farmed in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. It is dirt cheap, less than $10/kg, and not bad tasting with a reasonable texture. Coles sell it by the truck load. I used to eat a bit of it some years back but then it got a lot of bad press related to the conditions in which it is farmed so I stopped buying it. I now use local Flathead where I would have used Basa but at four or five times the price :$

The Port Club's Fish and Chips could well be Basa although the Seniors' Menu has battered Butterfish (Mulloway?).
I'm a hake man myself

Had a couple in the states and was a fan, when I went to the port club I seen it on the menu thought I'd give it a crack. Definitely not worth it
Yeah the cheese steak at the club is horrendous. Shredded beef in a hotdog bun with gross cheese melted over the top. Nothing like this, direct from the streets of south Philly

mtn dew?

srsly?

Do the dew, campaigner.

Anyway - they had better fix this shit by the time family day comes around, or i'll be livid and likely so will many others. Family day is a huge chance to rope people in to becoming semi-regular port club patrons.

Had one at Pat's (the guy that invented it) and one at Geno's (Pat's nemesis) while in Philadelphia. And a few more elsewhere in the USA. Quite tasty when done properly but with a lot of potential to be disgusting when not.

I love mountain dew, I just take issue with the current... Image.

Here's one, Port make their own version, Stuart legs like a mountain dew.

First time I've seen a mountain dew tinnie outside of a zinger box in 15 years

I haven't had a meal at the club since early november, but I noticed then that the quality of the food was deteriorating.
Quite possibly the good chef(s) have been poached ( no pun intended ) by another outlet, which I believe is par for the course in the pub game.
