This isn’t appropriation but it’s another side to the same rubbish imo. I have four adult children, all of them would have watched Snow White as children and probably adults. Anyone who’s confused about a fairytale and consent is either too young for it to be a problem or is being disingenuous Imo.

Given the very real problems so many are facing today it just blows my mind that this is what turns up on sunrise. I don’t watch much random tv certainly not sunrise or the competition and I don’t miss it at all. If they aren’t just talking rubbish then it’s usually one scare campaign or another and the papers are no better.

I think the umpiring has been garbage in general with glaring mistakes in every game I watch. I was talking to a friend about free kicks given versus those not paid and the impact that has on games, which hurts you more ?. I’ve watched games where the umpires are red hot on one team with say holding the ball where the other team seems to have ages to dispose of the ball after being tackled. Anyway I didn’t think we’d had a particularly lousy run, but we have had like everyone else some shocking isolated decisions.

That's the problem these days. It gets hits laughing at the extreme viewpoints of the fringes of either side of politics. One or two fringe nutters want 12 year old rape victims to go full term for god and it scares or bemuses people on the left and the vegan lesbian that wants the shape of sausages changed does the same to the right. You just have to not take any of it too seriously.

The media is like a confused teen going through it's own form of transition in the digital landscape. At the moment it's lost so dresses up weird to get any attention it can while freaking out everyone around it.

They find the crazies to get people to notice them when there are 3 million hours of shit TikToks to watch....and they all seem remarkably similar.

I think if people are watching breakfast TV or the news or reading the Herald Sun then they're probably getting what they deserve. Much better for your health to just ignore all that crap imo.

Well I just discovered the best thing. We bought a house down the coast about 18 months ago that has a little stream running through the back and a pond. Found out last night there’s a platypus living in it. Pretty happy about that.
