Japanese can be way more conservative than you'd think.
Dealing with Toyota used to be very frustrating.
"You have to use Kanban".( Japanese for "card" ). "No we use computer".

I haven't been to Japan for 8 years or something but the airports are quite old school unless they've upgraded. Even a lot of the train carriages are immaculate but look like they are from 1970. They used to have taxis that looked like 1980s Toyota Coronas still then.

OK - looked it up, and they used the Toyota Crown Comfort and the Nissan Cedric !!! Looks like they started gradually phasing them out because of the Olympics, which lines up with when I was last in Japan, which was not long before Covid, which hit about 4 to 6 months before the Olympics were supposed to be held!!

It mentions they have size rules for taxi's ( why the Geely London Taxi didn't get a look in ).
The old Toyota Crown was when ALL Japanese cars had to be narrow, which is why they probably kept using the crown for years after the Camry's etc went wider.

They are great when i actually go over there and socialise each evening after the conference and even during the breaks. But sitting in on teams you miss that aspect.

Still , i wouldn't say that the money , emissions ,etc would be worth it for one of the smallest divisions the furthest away.
In the end a round trip to Europe is a solid chunk of the monthly revenue.

Its hard to believe the so called super power country has a choice of poor old Joe who couldn't remember half the questions they asked him or a Lying, delusional, arrogant piece of sh1t as choice to run the sh1t show of a country.

My feel was he could remember the question but he couldn't remember how to engage his mouth, so he got then suckered into the "moments" that Trump invariably gave, as Trump was, due to how that debate was run, able to basically do whatever the hell he wanted in the time allotted to him, so there was of course a lot you go "well, actually..." at.

You could kind if tell by his eyes that he knew what to say he just couldn't remember or find the words to say it. Trump does one thing well and it's just say WTF thought bubble pops into that wig of his then run with it as far as you can.

Trump mulligans, only best on his own course of course.
Biden tries to play a legit game, around hole 6, he wandered into the lake.
Kim Jong tries to mulligan, gets a couple until Trump gets pissy, and since 50 years between the two, Trump bodies him to join Biden in the lake for cheating.
