When will people stop apologising ffs

Very apt article and publication I thought, came complete with trigger warnings for the petals that find reading, and the world in general, too confronting, and it was published in something misnamed "Pedestrian Daily" which clearly should be called the "Very Pedestrian"...

Like Vice and others, started ok all those years ago only to become utter ... I am too foolish to read the site rules nonsense.

You seriously have to shake your head at the bullshit put out by the pro gun advocates in Merica.
The newest one is "more guns = less crime"
And apparently since 1996 there has been more gun violence and more gun crimes in Australia.
I saw a survey in the USA asking if people were concerned about being a victim of a mass shooting when they were in a large crowd. The majority said it was a concern.
When I go somewhere with a large crowd my main concern is how long I need to wait for a beer. Me thinks jackbruce309 may not be Australian!

Yeah, anyone would know it's knife crime that took over that gap of the gun buy back instance, hell, we still have a gun shop next to a bank locally and core crime is still knife related, so methinks jack might just be shooting from the hip quite often instead of maintaining proper firearms around his personnel.

My relatives are mostly in the country and even just registering them and having to keep them in a locked cabinet is a massive improvement. When I was a kid we'd go and grab a rifle from the shed and go out shooting targets, it was luck more than good management that none of us shot each other or ourselves. Even cars or livestock that were near by.

My dad had something like one of these, it was given to him by his uncle.

When the laws got stricter, he did what he was told and he took it in to get it registered
The bureaucratic dick used some rough engraving thing to put a number right down the barrel, rendering it worthless as an antique.
It was already worthless as a weapon.

Put ball(s) in barrel(s). Measure gunpowder into each barrel. Place wad in each barrel , and press in.
Pull trigger and shoot guy.
Guy says ouch.

Same with my grandmother. She had her dad's shotgun that was an antique with decorative silver inlay up the barrel. It was a work of art. Apparently they grabbed out the antiques to sell at least. It would have been a shame to crush it.

I still don’t know what a Bahn mi is
It's Vietnamese for 'ban me' and triggers an auto suspension on the forums. Enjoy your holiday, see you in a week
