Islanders built these artificial islands out of basalt. You can't work out how they did it. Not ancient but crazy engineering.
I have visited the site Ha'amonga 'a Maui when I worked in Tonga which I haven't seen covered in the series. It's a large stonehenge like structure which is built to align with the solstice.
Tonga also has the Lapaha Langi which is like a large foundation of a Inca style pyramid.
From memory Tahiti is also dotted with similar sites as well.
