He mentioned you in his call to KB this morning Bedford

Plenty of mix of all sports and sports people interviews on Sen in the 168 broadcast hours in the week , along with dozens of talkback calls and SMS question responses by the various hosts , and not as many adds as many complain that they think there is , compared to other radio stations , which after all is what funds the station being able to go to air each day.

Makes a dill out of the wakka that sent Finey an SMS , which he mentioned , loaded with F bombs last night just at the end of Scotty Goodings weekly TV freak hour , whinging that they should be talking sport.

They do talk sport and plenty of it.

Finey's haemorrhoids story fell into the TMI category believe me

I don't remember the title of their show, but I remember on world Sport Overnight they used to have Tony from Feddish Bar and this character called The Agitator who was supposed to be a Journalist of some repute and would always interrupt the caller and talk over the top of them when they were owning him. Do these guys ring a bell? I think Brett Phillips booted them right away when he took over on overnights.

The ring of fire guys (3 of them) were the first overnight guys I believe, but weren't on for very long I don't think.....while I thought they were good, they sometimes seemed to struggle with what to talk about, trying to find their way I guess..

.. They were, in reality, probably terrible, but it was so awesome to have a sport station 24/7 instead of having to listen to the likes of Bruce and Phil or Keith McGowan on 3AW ......prior to SEN I rarely had the radio on, just couldn't stand all the garbage about nothing.

IIRC Tony Schibecci came along after the rof guys...I've just always been mystified as to who they were.

Was listening TRH coming home from work, and they were talking about someone's name on page 13 of the Herald Sun today. Didn't see the paper today. Did anyone else know what they were talking about?

Well, the ratings spiked (relatively) when Gaze filled in for Watson when he took his extended break a couple of years ago, so.....

The ANA boys mentioned that Finey had to deal with a "difficult situation" shortly before midnight.

Anyone know what happened?

I didn't hear all of it, but it was about a caller or SMSer apparently having a crack at one of his family members. I assume he dumped the call.... ? He had a crack back, saying something to the effect of, "You can have a go at me all you like, but as soon as you bring my family into it.,....... .... why don't you come down here and I'll show ya how gutless you really are?"



However, because I have no life (and often can't sleep), I taped it and will listen later when I'm trying to nod off.

Idiot caller started off his call by talking about the races then the call was dumped , because the caller said something about Fineys family. Finey said that the rang on a private number.

A person that a) thinks about ringing up to do that and then b) rings up and does it is a sick flog.

As Finey said , ring up and tell him if you agree or disagree with any opinions that he has , but that doesn't mean to saying anything to include his family.

Re the Bigfooty talk that he started the show off with not much was said only reading out a few posts , not really much at all
