Nah, it makes sense for both clubs. We effectively get a two for 1 in the deal, and the dogs get the player they want for nothing (because they would lose higgins anyway).

(Refer to Monfries trade for an example of re-routing the FA system).

also not in the Dogs' interest as they will lose whatever compo due for Higgins.

If we can get them to trade that compo pick for Robbo and say our third rounder I'd be pretty chuffed. Can't see them agreeing though.

I doubt it on the strength of what I've seen of him.

I think the name Cordy has them spooked and there will be better players around that mark.

According to their board Macca was telling people on the weekend that they are definitely taking him.

But because their second pick is so early, I doubt anyone will bid and make them use it.
