I just think it's time to let Waite go.

If Waite wants to stay at Carlton he has to take less money and play nearly every game at a consistent level. LOL

Agreed. Father-son or not, he has shown he's not committed to the vision of the club. Get rid of him and use the salary space to attract talent during FA/trade period. Or just give Judd some extra coin for his retirement contract for being a legend and being the complete opposite.

It doesnt bother me if he stays or goes, im maybe leaning towards him leaving. We know he doesnt play 22 games, more likely 15 games (of which 5 he will be next to useless) and will be gone in a year or 2 anyway.
He has shown potential to be a superstar but year after year doesnt get it done (mainly injury). North can have him

Does anyone else think they are seriously overrating their list, and topping it up by overpaying old injury prone players is just going to make the fall harder?
On output, in hindsight, he was being overpaid. That was my point, and I am not sure what yours is.

My point is that Carlton paid him what they expected his output to be worth. If his output doesn't match that it's idiotic to point the finger at him.
In hindsight, player contracts are private & you actually have no idea how much he was being paid.
Guessing it was "you cannot hold injuries against the player".
Problem with Waite isn't just the injuries, it is the "brain fades" and his application (or lack of) which has also seen him under-achieve for years now.
Some coincidence... 
It depends on what the reason for that reduced output was in my opinion.
By the way, its bad form to throw words like idiotic at people who disagree with you.
Waite and Higgins could do us a favour by having his retirement fix at the overated and under achieved North
Juddy, Gibbs, Murph, Yarran all signed on for less than market value which you'd hope had set a standard.
Waite isn't going to get any better and if wants out, so be it. Don't see why he should be holding a gun to the clubs head after a month of decent footy.
