Pulled that one from nowhere! Guess team directives tmrw will be to let Lando through, which is fair enough given championship still within reach**** yeah Oscar!
Hopefully he's forced into some team orders to let Lando through, few little mental wins that that he's not capable of beating Oscar on meritPulled that one from nowhere! Guess team directives tmrw will be to let Lando through, which is fair enough given championship still within reach
**** LandoObviously want an Oscar win, but failing that i'd be thrilled with a Max DNF, a Norris win and Ferraris coming in 2 and 3 to set up an exciting finish to the year. I miss the days where Adelaide was the last race
I can forgive Schiff....Great work from Ollie Bearman btw.
But having another British driver for the Sky F1 crew to get all hot and sweaty over - especially Schiff and Chandhok - is not something that makes their already unbalanced commentary any easier to listen to.
I said 'listen to' CromI can forgive Schiff....
Oscars directive, get a good start and hope Charles gets past Lando lap 1 cruise to win repeat tomorrowPulled that one from nowhere! Guess team directives tmrw will be to let Lando through, which is fair enough given championship still within reach
I'm confident his response was due to the question including Max being in p4 and not about Piastri. Agree his answer was petulant though, I guess in his mind it doesn't matter where Max is, he just needs to finish as high as possible and see what shakes out.Norris' misinterpreting the question thrown at him after sprint quali as being about Piastri finishing above him and then giving a petulant answer about him not caring shows that he does care and it does tick him off when his team mate trumps him.
He's comfortably beaten Oscar on merit in most races this seasonthat he's not capable of beating Oscar on merit
Won't for too much longerHe's comfortably beaten Oscar on merit in most races this season
Didn't catch it in the coverage but F1 sites are reporting that after the "woo" response when he told he got pole Piastri said "I should get food poisoning more often".Very happy to seen Piastri on pole! Even if it’s a sprint race and not a full one. The silver lining though is when McLaren issue team orders it’s easier to concede a Sprint race win to Norris than a full race. Oscar will also get brownie points for being a team player but not really care too much.
He'll definitely play good team mate during the sprint as it's only 1 pt. Not so sure about the race if he outqualifies Lando and has a chance to win though.Imagine his instructions will be to do all he can to support his team mate in both the sprint and race sessions though.
