I don't think anyone has ever accused Lando of cheating. The team has consistently given him preferential treatment, in terms of upgrades and pit strategy, and they have also let Oscar down at other times, but that's as far as it goes.

The team is not to blame for Oscar's failure to register a time in Q3. That was entirely due to driver error.

On a different note, Ricciardo was beaten by Tsunoda again, though there were only a few hundredths of a second in it. It's not like Tsunoda beat him by half a second, as he did earlier in the season. More disturbingly, the aero upgrades actually made the car slower by more than a second, compared to where they were at in Canada. They've gone from being the 6th fastest team to 9th as a result of the aero downgrade - someone will lose their job over this.

No surprises that Danika is a cooker.

Her and Chandhok are the double team that is ruining the Sky F1 commentary. Lots of words but delivering utter rubbish in terms of accurate and relevant assessment.

It's become an utter mess in the past 2 years with them taking a more prominent role. The on track action has become far more entertaining this year than any time in recent history but the Sky commentary has just gone backwards.

I can, maybe, understand why they brought Danika on board as they think she appeals to the section of the US market they are hoping to target long term but I can't see any reason why Chandhok is still there and what he offers.

The only positive thing about the Sky commentary this weekend is the patient expert analysis of Antony Davidson and tactician comments from Bernie Collins but it's not enough.

The one silver lining for Oscar is that apparently his long runs in practice were very quick. I read he was fastest on the softs and hards while being 2nd only to Max on the mediums.

They all do and if you ever watch “The race” YouTube channel they love taking pot shots at Danny Ric and couldn’t even say Jack Doohans name as a possible driver. The British hate us.

I stopped listening to The Race 3 years ago for that reason. It was boring. It sucks that most of the English speaking F1 media is British.
