That is why we must face Geelong in the GF.

People don’t make movies where you avoid your GF nemesis.

It will be the making of our club for the next decade to exorcise all our demons and to prove we can beat a powerhouse at the MCG.

Also, we should seek revenge and redemption for 22. This is why we must face Geelong. Do you think the John Wick franchise would survive if they didn’t kill his dog ?

The neutrals and maybe even umps could be on our side. No Melbourne team wants Geelong even tho they don’t like us either.

But to have our dynamic midfield running riot over the old men of Geelong is too delicious to contemplate.

As the shadows are cast in the late afternoon at the G, Blakey Chad and Gulden start to run riot.

Swing low, sweet chariot.

I love a great thriller. But I'd take a predictable movie with a happy ending over an edge-of-your-seat classic with a plot twist that has you leaving the cinema in shock.

Really interesting the way the game is heading towards groundball/chaos style and high pressure rather than a strong marking style.

We dont fare well in that style neither do Port/Brisbane.

Geelong has a huge gap in that area over the remaining sides.

Yeah, the chaos ball is really difficult to defend against because the ball just bobs up anywhere and bodies are moving in all directions. Brisbane used it to great effect against GWS on the weekend, GWS were caught flat footed and the Lions were just able to attack the ball better and it would inevitably fall to an open player just outside of the congestion.

Very difficult to counter when your opponent has a head full of steam and just attacks the ball. That's why we need to be THAT team.

That is crazy rapid. Equates to just over 9.5 seconds for the 100m.

Funnily enough Geelong stormed back into contention after they retired Hawkins.

We are still bucking the trend with how our forward line is setup not saying it wont be successful or anything.
