Don't know if anyone answered but he says it when players manage to get a kick away when surrounded by opponents

Or close to the boundary, or when they don't have much time, or when they bend the ball in flight. He says it whenever he wants

Douchebag Derrrrwaaaayyyyne "THATS CRAZY GOOD" Russell has started bringing in -"Gives him the ol ELVIS HIPS!" as a term for baulking a bloke.

What an absolute waste of oxygen this bloke is

While i completely agree with your point, 'waste of oxygen' is online jargon

Another Deerrwayynee Classic 'That's as good as it gets!!!!!' **** me it must be pretty bloody good, he spits that line out every other game!

Squeezes a kick. Bruce always says it and I couldn't actually tell you what he means by it.
This Bruceyism mutated into other cringeworthy variations:
  • He squeeeeeeeeezes one
  • He gets a squeezy one.

It's his homoerotic conceptualisation of someone kicking the ball quickly to avoid it being smothered by an approaching player.

I'm sure it's been mentioned a dozen times, but the old favourite.."must-win game".

Last week local radio dubbed the Crows game in Perth as a must-win. And you guessed it, this week v the Hawks is also a must-win.

I hear the word 'unselfish' used a lot. It sort of gives a negative connotation, like usually a plauer wouldn't be selfish to take the shot, unless they could pass it off to a player in a better position. I guess selfless or generous sound better to me.

Teams being referred to as 'brave' for basically anything. Especially sticking it out. Is brave really the right word here? I mean determination, grit, perserverance or discipline aren't quite synonymous with bravery or courage. Going back with the flight and taking a pack mark is brave. Running out a game is commendable but not exactly brave.
