Ok..you're wrong but if it makes you feel healthier, ok
Umm, nope.
I know all the early (industry sponsored) research suggested the health benefits of no sugar drinks. Plenty of people bought into that hype and still believe it. But as more recent independent research comes to light, the harms of artificial sweeteners have become more apparent and will continue to do so at increasing levels.

True
Triggers an insulin response through your tongue telling your brain to prepare for sugar and kills your gut bacteria, double whammy before you do the maths on the fake chemicals

Sorry I dont understand.

You're talking about things you've seen on the news, but I've pretended to misinterpret your post as you discussing things you've seen in your own home. The comedy comes from the absurdity. Please like my post. Thanks.

That's a chemical element.

In the last 24 hours, Ive seen a cop bash a wombat for cultural reasons and a Jewish kid forced to kiss the feet of a Muslim kid to save him from a beating.

I mean seriously wtf.

It’s pretty poor that the uncle has come out and said it’s cultural when it’s not and many other Aboriginal people have come out and said as much.

Should be prosecuted just like others

My understanding is that it is cultural but not practiced?

Will be fascinating how this plays out in a court of law. Im sure he will have or find an elder that validates his claims that it is cultural which then makes it a legal minefield in Australia.

Yeah I may have misinterpreted the elder Johncock, but my sense was he wasn't really sanctioning this guy's obnoxious behaviour but more defending his people's general right to hunt native fauna for consumption purposes. The articles I've read have felt a bit twisted in their narrative.

Hard to argue it was cultural when they were taking a video of it and laughing about it like it was all a bit of a lark, they weren't hunting it for food.
