They put the kegs of beers in the cool room instead of under the bar .
Fuuuu me they were so chilled ...so refreshing.

A “Glass” is actually called a “Pony” in WA to make it more confusing ( or was , I don’t think anyone has used that term for about 40 years 😁)

Edit : Phantom13 still drinks Pony’s with the old diggers 😁
I have never ordered one but I recall some old blokes ordering them.

Good times .

I used to drink middies in WA but after getting used to drinking pints in the UK they were like drinking shooters when I returned.

The first time I drank a schooner was when I went to Sydney, I asked the bartender for a middie who had no idea what that was.

Fosters is big in the UK.
I'm unsure if it sells well here.

Pots make sense in the warmer climates so the beer can’t get too warm before you finish it.

Pints in the colder states where it doesn’t make a difference.
Pints in the UK make no sense warm beer lovers.

I've never drunk Fosters here but I drank it a bit in the UK as it was one of the main tap beers, it wasn't as bad as I expected.

Yeah that was the main reason for drinking middies in WA but we would often get jugs as well which just defeated the purpose.
