I pack on the day I’m leaving or as I’m going to bed the night before

I always figure that if I forget something, I can get it wherever I am
I'm starting to think the Jack Reacher way is the best

Pack a toothbrush and buy what I need where I go

My kids’ birthdays are in November and December, so I combine Christmas shopping with bday shopping and try to get it all done before Dec 1. Mostly successful the past couple of years.

December babbys should get a combined bday and xmas gift :D

I'm boxing day too.

Mum went off at my auntie (her sister) when I was little saying we do 1 x bday 1x Xmas present for your kid, what gives?

Never had that issue again cheers mum

As i get older I'm happy doing an all in 1 get together thing rather than gifts

It's like a friend of mine packs his suitcase the day before he leaves for a holiday overseas. It takes me at least two weeks!

Nah, morning before the flight!

Where we live, we have to travel interstate first, so last time we travelled (pre-covid :(), the girls had 3 suitcases packed about a week out. My son packed the night before, and my suitcase was packed in the morning about half an hour before we left for the airport, along with everyone else's carry-on (electronics, snacks, etc).

It only takes about 10-15 minutes to pack and most of that is fitting into my case what others forgot to pack. I really don't get it.

How many days? Hot or cold climate. Work? Dinner? Activities? Pack what we need, and GO
