I watched the 2007 grand final from start to finish. By the time i got to 2009 i couldnt be bothered and just watched the season highlights DVD which included the GF. Did the last q of 2011 GF

Seething with rage after making an "express" post order on Tuesday, following it up today to be be promised it would be sent before 4pm, only to find out that they've lied to me.

I needed it by the weekend, I'm quite ****ed now without it. There's every chance I spend tomorrow morning trying to find the product semi locally to either not find it, and if I do find it I have to book a car to go get it.

Disgusting service.

The 04 prelim between Port and St Kilda was an epic final too, it was another heartbreaking loss for us though like our GF losses.

the good thing about WC is the GFs are usually good value to rewatch, know a couple of them by heart (including 2005). 2015 was so insipid in that regard, only watched it once since. One of those years like 1999 where I have stronger memories of the NRL GF.

The Hawthorn GFs were absolutely terrible. The worst.


As for the 1990s, all of them were pretty average (altho i only started in 1993, missed 90-92)

I watched the 1999 GF at a bar in San Diego, the game started there at about 8.30pm on Friday night and after drinking all afternoon I don't remember much of the game. not that it was a memorable game anyway though with North winning it easily.

Me and three students watched the highlights of each quarter the other day. They couldn't believe the MCG (asked me which ground was this at ) and the violence.

Was weird when the old Southern Stand was still there. Looked minute compared to the colosseum it is today

2014 was a long way from being boring but each to their own

2014 was clinical. I wouldn't watch it again because it wasn't close and my team wasn't in it, but Hawthorn absolutely demolished Sydney who were the minor premier and favourite going in.

Would've been great to see a third GF between Syd/Haw or Syd/WC. The 2009-11 period where Geelong and Collingwood beat St Kilda then Geelong beat Collingwood was great but there were no rematches other than the replay because of the draw. Geelong and St Kilda played a couple of epic matches, a return bout GF would've been elite.

I didn’t rewatch the 2012 grand final match for the longest time. Started with highlights months later, ended up watching the full match before the 2014 grand final (and I've watched it at least once a year.... sometimes more since then).

2013 might have been boring to some, I still like it (Hawthorn win and all). Some hate the 14/15/22/24 matches due to the blow out factor. I myself enjoyed them as they were systematic destructions of the beaten teams gameplan.
