Never heard of The Invincibles? Miss the 2005 Ashes? Cricket is absolutely a team game.

People are gushing over Mitchell Johnson's pace and bounce, but gloss over the consistent support bowling from Harris, Siddle and Lyon, the bowling plans prepared by the coaching staff, the fields set by Clarke and the totals our batsmen have given him to bowl against.

Yep, that's my point exactly, we only ever hear talk (be it around the water cooler or by professional commentators) about individual performances.

When a large manufacturer decides to close its Australian operation, why is it the governments fault?

Couldn't agree more!

Don't want to be political as don't care either way but The Opposition were in power when Mitsubishi left and also when Ford decided to leave our shores. Holden have lost money on every car they have produced then sold in Australia for the last 12 months, this decision was clearly going to happen but it is now Tony Abotts fault who has been PM for 3 months. Don't get it!!

Also things I don't understand is how people have dogs that bark loudly at 10pm, 12am, 2am, 4am that wake up the whole neighbourhood. If these dogs are waking me up over 150 meters away how do the people who actually live in that house (and their direct neighbours) sleep?? Don't understand how they allow it to continue.

Possums brah.

Possums brah.

What I don't understand is how the people sleep in the house whilst this dog barks (at possums potentially) right outside their window. Shut the dog up cause I can't sleep. Just to confirm the dog also barks as you walk past, dog barks at cars as they go past. Dog just BARKS!! Sorry bit tired and cranky today, was awake at 10pm, 12am, 2am and 4am funnily enough :(

It's the (current) government's fault they are closing now.

The auto manufacturers have been subsidised for years with varying justifications. The current govt are simply the one who have finally said 'enough's enough, you're not sustainable'.

Holden are seen as the 'real Aussie' manufacturer. Ford has been part of Geelong for eons and we had Mitsubishi, Toyota are still around etc. but Holden is the name which started here, and despite the fact it is just an arm of GM and has been for 70 years people are upset to see it (well, locally produced cars) go.

You don't live in Cranbourne do you?

Nah mate. However, you can probably still hear the same dog I am talking about from 20 km's away though!! Every freaking night at the same time. I am seriously thinking about typing a letter and dropping it in the mail box and signing off....
From Your Neighbourhood.

Door to door electricity retail salesmen and when they try the sneaky I am "insert company name" electricity agent and your property has shown up as green on our database and we need to check your meter, ****ing sure these approaches were illegal.

Anyway kept him busy for 20 minutes confusing the shit out of him with completely unrelated questions such as "I'm adopting an orphaned Llama next month how much will my bill go up by if I leave the lights on in the back room as he hates the dark?

He (thank Christ) caught on and scolded me for wasting his time, I said no problems glad to be of service, now **** off, if you were actually honest in your dealings I would be happy to say thanks but no thanks. But no you choose a deceptive sales strategy designed to **** over the elderly and naive.

The checkout lady getting all shitty with me when I wanted a plastic bag to go with my purchase. It was raining outside and didn't want my product wet and I use a few round the house, they come in handy.

The compulsion to buy everyone you've seemingly had contact with Christmas presents/something for Christmas. Sure buy the children in the family something by all means but to my mind it gets a bit ridiculous after that.

People complain about the legitimacy of Herald Sun, The Age, Channel 7, 9, Rupert Murdoch etc. but if they are unreliable sources, where do you get reliable news from?

Reading between the lines of what's being said by those sources.

There is no new info only undisclosed info. So "news" is just controlled propaganda.

I dont watch the news. I dont need to to know how ****ed things are. Or what opinions to have. Or what to talk about at the water cooler.

So **** murdoch, except foxfooty.

I don't understand the popularity of staffordshire terriers. Ugly as **** annoying campaigners of things they are.
