I find it strange that I may well be conversing online with people who were born after 9/11. It's so weird because, even though I was only 9 at the time, I can still remember that day vividly. The kids who were born after that probably don't have any real idea of the impact that event had on the world.
When I 'converse online' with people born after 9/11 plain clothed officers with clipboards knock on the door and ask questions.
I don't really feel old because I still do a lot of the same shit I did as a teenager (play video games 'till 2am, eat junk food with little care for my body, jerk off); just replace slacking off at school all day with slacking off at uni/work. It does annoy me though when I see people who are years younger than me but far more successful.
You might have stumbled on the source of your annoyance there.
I don't mind seeing people younger than me who are successful. I've got a lot more time for the 25 year old who works his arse off than the 30 year old who's barely competent but gets by on Daddy's money/name.
