I went into my old primary school.
When your a kid the place looked huge.

My mate's kids go to the same primary school that we went to and he was at a parent teacher night when he saw that they still had the trophy from the lightning carnival premiership that we both played in in 1984. It was the day both our footy career's peaked.

My old primary school is the local voting place, so even though I don't have kids it gives me the chance to return every few years
And it looks nothing like when I was there - can't remember if it was my first or second year of uni that they found major structural issues in the main building (the whole thing was pretty much all connected) and it had to be demolished. They lost access to the ovals for a couple of years as they had to bring in sufficient demountable buildings to act as classrooms for 500 odd students
It's an amazing area now & a massive upgrade from when I was there

It been stinking hot today.
Had all the doggies inside with air conditioning on.
Each dog got a toy out of the basket then little dog went took them all them back and took them to his bed.
So the other 2 got more toys out.
Then little one went and took them to his bed.
He's bed was full of toys and no room for himself.

Hearing, and then spotting, a koala in the backyard. Cute little bugger.
Annual teddy bear toss game on Saturday (Vancouver Giants). Was fun. Also just nice to see players, refs, ice crews etc stop play for 15 minutes and pick up toys for charity.

I caught my old dogs playing with their shell.
The puppy was in the shell and the older dog was pulling him around.
I had a shell full of balls and toys when current labs were puppies.
Before they decided to eat it
.I had another one but it broke ..so I put sand in it for the cat in her area.

I saw this (or what I think is this) in Big W the other week and had a Principal Skinner moment.
I also grew up with anthropomorphised turtles that lived in a sewer in New York and were trained in martial arts by a rat, so who am I to judge?
