Not especially, I'm pretty thick skinned man, but there is enough casual homophobia on these boards already, there's no need for you to come to the party too.

I beg to differ my hardcore friend, you only need read almost any thread on these boards regarding gays and I think that you will find there are a good lot of people who have a "hang up" over sexuality.

I'm not sure about the said poster's views on sexuality but I thought it was light hearted and a bit funny. This is different to the people on gay threads doing the "homo is wrong", "homo is a choice", "homos should have less rights", "give homos equal rights and the next thing you know people will be able to marry their pets etc". These are the people you really have to worry about. Arguing with them won't change their views as to think that shit shows they are narrow minded to begin with. But you sure can taunt them and laugh at them.

Surely you can accept it's a lifestyle many people are against? I mean, I treat gay people i come accross well, equally and with respect, but it's not something I'm fond of or even agree with neccessarily. I don't think homosexuals can truly expect total acceptance, but respect and equal opportunities are musts IMO.

Different things for me. If you didn't like me because im straight i'm ok with that. people don't like people for a lot of reasons. Don't like my lifestyle, I'm cool with that too, it's not for everyone. But i'd still like to be respected as a person. That's what i'm getting at, you can have both. A lot of people you may brand as homophobes may be in the same boat. They might respect you as a man, respect you as a person and a friend. But they may still be against gay marriage and the lifestyle in general. Homosexuality is not the whole person, on that at least im sure we'll agree.

I look for the A380's & where they are. I think one is QF93 from Aus to LAX. Its half way across the Pacific atm.

Its amazing the speed these jets do though.

The public healthcare system in this country. I'd been feeling really off colour for the last couple of days and this morning I started to feel really bad, I mean really terrible man. I called Mr. Gough at work and he took me into A&E at the RAH, where they diagnosed me with chronic dehydration as a result of a virus that I'd been for carrying for a while. They pumped 2 bags of saline through me, a some thiamine and a bag of sodium chloride. They took blood and piss tests, chest x-ray (smoker) and 6 hours later I am released. While I'm not climbing any mountains I feel immeasurably better. The nurses and doctors where superb and the only thing I could fault is that I wouldn't have minded ten minutes unsupervised in their pharmacy.
As a nation we should be proud of this.
