if we're ever broken into, I think it's better they don't have access to both cars immediately.
We keep our keys separately in our bedroom bedside tables. We have a hook for keys next to front door but dont use it. I often wonder whether to get a fake looking car key which if button pressed would turn on all the house lights. Or would that potentially piss off any would be thief

My wife can't find her car keys (push button start car), so literally it's just the fob thing.

She throws it in her handbag, her lunchbox etc etc and just leaves it there.

Does anybody else have this problem? How did you navigate it?

I've told her countless times she needs to be more careful, but what do I bloody know.
Ditto, then grabs my key fob (spare) until hers turns up.
I always remind her that they cost HUNDRED$ to replace but zero ****s given.

Put a set of coat hooks in the hall near the front door and started placing all my keys there told her to put hers on the second hook.

Still has the tendency to put them in a bag and forget which one its in.

Better than her old habit of chucking the key fob in the cupholder, getting out of the car and leaving it there only to call in a panic as she's locked out of her car when it auto-locks

By the 3rd time I left work, drove 40+ kms to get home, grab my spare fob, then drive to unlock her car and doing my nut she's finally learned to leave spare house keys at her mum's, call HER instead and get mum to pick her up, drive to our house, grab my spare fob, retrieve her car and thinks it's the perfect crime. (although she now puts my fob onto HER key hook when she does it giving it away :p - rookies)

Hay Fever/Allegies in Summer.

Literally takes so much energy out of me.

My eyes are constantly watering and my nose is lighting up like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer ...

Most unpleasant

My car is also keyless with the push button start - my fob lives in a lil mobile phone sock (from when phones were tiny things as this would likely nothing bigger than a Nokia 3310)

That then lives in either my bag, or if I’m going out without my bag when I return home it’s put on the table with my sunglasses as those are something I don’t leave the house without wearing

If she always goes out with her bag, then she may be best off finding a suitable pocket in the bag in which to keep the fob and not take it out of that

You paint an interesting picture of yourself Cruyff14

My keys, live in a “purse” along with a card holder, coin wallet and phone that then lives in my bag - makes everything so easy to access given how much important stuff shares my bag

I never take the keys out other than to unlock the front door. It’s others who seem to struggle returning the keys to where they live.

Hay Fever/Allegies in Summer.
Was on an end of year excursion yesterday. Arrived at the park and I don't know what triggered it, but next minute my eyes were blurry and stinging and my nose was dripping like a sieve. Got back on the bus and by the time we were back I was fine. But it wasn't fun trying to herd 4 year olds whilst my sinuses malfunctioned!

looks good!!

I guess the thing is what if you lose the purse?

Sometimes when i go away i hide teh car keys somewhere in the house. One time i forgot where i hid it lol.

So now when i hide it i set a calendar reminder to check this app where i store locked notes. The note is password protected. So get the password right and the note opens telling me where the keys are hidden
