Tradies. Got held up because some clown was blocking off someones driveway even though they had plenty of room to not do so. Sat there for 3 minutes waiting for the clown to move because I couldn't go around. Then the cretin decides to move forward and sit in the corner blocking it off for a good 30 seconds. I honk at him and the campaigner has the audacity to give me the finger and have a go at me. The entitlement from these campaigners is up there with Merc drivers and smokers.

Southern hemisphere summers are actually shorter than northern hemisphere summers, which means that summer is actually around 5 days shorter than winter for you. The sun moves slower during your winter due to the earth's elliptical orbit. So no, you're not imagining it.

We haven't had a day above 33 yet i dont think over 5 weeks into summer. Was pissing with rain all weekend too. I think in that regard winter is much longer these days but then again it stays warmer later i think. March-april still gets 30+ regularly

The BOM has introduced (it may have been around for ages but i only found it a few weeks back) the Indigenous seasons long term rainfall predictions.

It has the South of Mainland Aus (SA, Vic and Southern WA) having 7ish seasons.

Frankly that makes way way more sense than the 4 were sold.

Then warranty was 3-years (expired last year) so all cost to me
Cars done around 46,000kms only
Not happy a motor mount carks it in that low mileage\time frame

I had a Mini that had one of those broken off. The engine used to smash into the firewall a bit when you accelerated but when you had to pump up the brakes to make the car stop you tended not to worry about that much.

Unusual for German engineering to fail like that after 4 years. Do they have to pull the engine or can they fix in situ?

Yeah, I've only found out today the X1/X2 shares the same platform as the Mini Countryman.

It's had a horrible shuddering on start up/restarting (I always switch to leave running, her not so much), guess know I know why.

Pump up stand to support motor, unbolt from frame and motor, slide in new one and rebolt

Supposed to be out around 12:30-1:00
