When did Google Maps start pronouncing Princes Highway as "Prance Highway"????

Just did a trip to Adelaide and back and it was funny at first, but that only lasted the first hour.

That "take the second exit" just makes roundabouts more confusing than they need to be and probably causes more accidents.

Funny enough when I was doing my road trip Mrs R rings me talk for a bit .
Then I say Mrs Google and I getting on great she says yes to everything I say ....

People are already dumb at round a bouts I see cars just stop for no reason ...sometimes not even a car in the round a bout.

That's for bicycles only isn't it? Melbourne has hook right turns for cars because of the trams.

I've literally just had a complaint about my dog "not being contained" because she was in the lift off her leash the other day (on our way home). I know who made the complaint too, but it's a chick, so I can't fight her.

I have no issue with roundabout instructions like "take first exit", "take second exit" etc, because not all roundabouts are simple cross designs where that applies - instructions of which exit to take makes more sense and it's easier to standardise it for use at all roundabouts

Here's one example in Geelong that's a 5-way roundabout, so it's not as simple as left, straight or right:




At this one, going straight & on the same road is actually the 4th exit of the roundabout:




And here's another one that's not too far from the above, but it's got a slightly skewered alignment rather than a neat cross shape. From my vast experience at this roundabout, a good 75% of drivers coming from the south & going north (2nd exit) will use their right turn indicator because of the skewed nature of the roundabout and it stuffs the cars coming south as they're giving away to vehicles seemingly turning that aren't actually turning
