It's a 24/7 cycle these days. Uni never closes, there's always summer units that have been around for years.

I said the same thing years ago, been addicted to it since the late 90's (granted there are years where I skipped an installment due to tiredness of the game).

Yeah that's my experience.
- Pop stations: Same 40 songs repeated every couple of hours
- Classic rock stations: No repeated songs, but the same daily playlist for all of eternity
- Triple J: Huge and constantly changing playlist, most of which is terrible
