Being offended - everyone loves to be offended these days and worse, to tell anyone who will listen how offended they are. We live on a planet of 7 billion, you are going to find people and opinions you disagree with, get over it.
On that note, people who get offended about people getting offended. Because I live in the real world, I don't regularly encounter people who take offence at the signage on toilets or extreme feminists who take offence at the phrase batsman or whatever the latest supposed outrage is about. But I do encounter plenty of friends on Facebook who read the latest outrage article somewhere and bang on endlessly about how people are so offended. Here's an idea, stop reading stupid clickbait and you won't find people getting offended all the time. In the meantime, stop being so offended about people being offended.

Cars. As long as it performs it's function in getting me from A to B I couldn't give a toss.
Back in high school it was all about "mags." Kids driving $300 shitboxes with $600 worth of mags on it. Didn't get it then, don't get it now.

Weddings!

Or more specifically, spending a heap of money on them.

When I get married, there is absolutely NO WAY I will spend $40k+ on one night! That could be a house deposit, or I could buy everything I ever wanted with that kind of money (guitars, amps, 90s Fords and Holdens etc) - I just don't get it!

When the time comes, I'll be getting married in my local Greek Orthodox Church then everybody's coming back to our place. It's how my uncle did it, and it's the best wedding I've ever been to. End of story!

in a supermarket, the obsession with management over "face-up".
Have never walked into a store and refused to buy something because it's lying face-down or standing at an imperfect angle.
Absolute waste of time and resources that are already over-stretched.

Haha i work nightfill and i agree.
It's so stupid, the customers don't care it's just a time waster for staff.

My family is very multicultural when it comes to weddings.

My sister got married first so we went with traditional Chinese (the Groom's family pays).

Now that she is married we have integrated further into Australian society so if I ever get married the Bride's family can pay ;)

In two weeks I'm going to a "Wedfest" which will be the second time in a few years I've been to a camping festival / wedding / country hall scenario.
Shitloads cheaper, no enforced dress code, money all goes on some catering, booze and DJs/Performers. Decorations handmade, more relaxed and no transport worries just wander back to your tent. Much more fun too.

That's a ****ing brilliant idea!

I'm lucky in that my wife didn't want a massive Disney style wedding like some I've seen and attended, but it still would have ended up costing 15K or so. Bloody ridiculous really.

I'm not gonna lie, that sounds awesome. As for the performers, I'm in a band myself, wouldn't mind playing at my own wedding actually.

Edit: I don't know why I'm thinking about this, I'm so single right now. Most likely partially due to my attitude toward weddings.
