I've never seen either of these movies. Mac and Me looked the weirder of the two, there was actually a musical number in a McDonalds store about halfway through the film, despite this film not being a musical at any other stage.

I don't think I've ever got through the whole thing but it was notorious for being an ET rip off with blatant Coca Cola and McDonalds product placement.

That would explain that ridiculous Mcdonalds number.
