smh rich kids, I just put cellophane around my regular light
I never said I had the money to buy the good ones. I just used a texta to colour in some lightbulbs and stuck them on my wall. They don't light up, but they're LEDs in spirit

1. Recruitment will be more important than ever with up to 54 extra players required by the end of next season. We don’t want too many though, too many active posters in a team is apparently a bad thing.
2. The Sim is still taking the piss. Bombers finally get a nice lead, only for the inevitable comeback just in time to snatch the game. On the flip side, Tarkyn_24 only needed one more goal to hit the magical 1,000 career milestone, only for the Sim to move him onto the wing and away from the goal kicking action.
3. Speaking of milestones, the nicest Demon of the lot Callums_Guns had to launch his own thread for reaching 100 career games. Not only did his captain and LG drop the ball, they barely showed up to celebrate with him. If they were looking to push him out to one of the expansion teams, they have done themselves proud. Embarrassing stuff

1. PHX kicked the last 5 scores this week (5.0), and ended up winning by 6pts — despite having fewer 4 scoring shots (23-19).

2. In the last three weeks, Rats’ opposition has kicked a combined score of 48.16 (21.7, 12.5, 15.4). That’s 3 goals for every behind.

3. It was Sin City’s last home game of the season. After winning a grand total of ZERO home games in S31, the Rats have rebounded, winning 5 of their 8 matches in the Underground this season.

Jabba73, the Sim is indeed taking the piss big time.

1. Actions don't matter, just as long as you say your intentions are different 👍
2. 1 current expansion bid us being presented perfectly, another is insulting the league by trying to hide itself
3. I had another potshot plsnned here but forgot it, probably something about contribute to the league or stfu or a rehash of my "get a hobby nerds", whatever you find most offensive

1. Apparently doing something better than your fellow rookies makes you..worse than they are?
2. FootyGuy13 will have por_please_ya and I living rent free in his head for a year now
3. I played my previous werewolf intimidation role so perfectly I was not invited back for the new game

1. The SFA really hates snakes
2. All the Captains have been great to deal with regards expansion bid talks regardless of which side of the debate they sit
3. After all the online and off line discussions I have had, one thing I learnt about expansion is,
if it doesn't happen S34 its just a matter of time

1. The Furries are flagging. Their faux anger is declining with only a few dedicated posters flying the flag.
2. ClarkeM posting regularly makes our match threads much more enjoyable.
3. Wonders finding form at the right time of the year

Three things I learnt during this season:
1. The Sim is the Steve Hocking of the SFA. Always tinkering with the rules to get a contrived outcome, despite there being absolutely no need to do anything. Like SHocking, the Sim believes it is above the law because it makes the law. No one trusts that the rules we are given will remain for any longer than what is convenient.
2. The Mods are the umpires of the SFA. They are given the impossible task of interpreting and implementing the confusing rules during a constant flurry of activity, and yet somehow are the only people in the world who are not allowed to make mistakes. Everything is up for interpretation and they are unfairly maligned for trying to do an impossible job under trying circumstances. Not much different to the AFL umpiring fraternity including some forgetting who the crowds really pay their hard earned cash to watch.
3. Gil the Dill as the Admin, believes he is (nominally) in charge of the league. Everyone else knows the stakeholders really make all the important decisions and leaves the daily grind to the “figurehead”. For all the perceived ability to run the place, the benefits are far outweighed by the sheer volume of mind numbing tedium required to keep the place open. No one who understands the job wants it, and that is the only reason the incompetence is tolerated.
