I was just reading the AFL's analysis for all clubs. Evidently the ratings were done by Nathan Schmook.....unfortunate name for the lad. I'm sure he's had a difficult childhood.

Anyway, I dont really care what he rates our trading over the last two weeks but I honestly cant see how the hell he came up with the various ratings for each team. He gives Geelong an A+ based a lot on Dangerfield and then gives Adelaide a B- because they shouldnt be judged on losing Dangerfield....go figure... obviously logic isnt a prerequisite to be an AFL site "contributor". He even mentioned St. Kilda gaining the nod for Rice in the father-son. What has that got to do with trading?

The reality is the "ratings" will be reflected in the number of finals appearances in the next half dozen years, and the ridiculous inconsistent knee jerk assessments by some kid with a funny name will be forgotten by all but the Schmook and maybe his mother in the fullness of time.

TBH, I think the Tigers fans, although at one stage thanks to king troll KB, thought they were a chance of getting AT. Once reality kicked in and they knew they were dreaming, their comments went from stupid and sad to a bit tongue in cheek, actually entertaining at times.
Kangaroos fans, well really they are just harmless.
As for Brisbane fans, I think they may have had way to many knocks to the head playing rugby before they learnt about AFL to hold a valid opinion.
Some of them can make an interesting view point but the vast majority are just anti Eddie, anti Bucks, anti anything Collingwood, who really should wear a hat whilst outside, as they have burnt way to many brain cells from their time in the sun.
Actually, Brisbane in general should now be known as the gymnasts, for they do a great backflip

He was never going to Richmond. He has been coming to Collingwood since May.

I'm aware it's realistically always been Collingwood, but he did say HIMSELF that it was down to 2 teams. He wouldn't say that in a Collingwood promotional video if it wasn't true.

The best part about it is both Richmond and North were in the market for some of the same players we were and still we fended them off as the players were hell bent on joining us- both those teams played finals too.

It speaks volumes of our drawing power once again as a club and what we are building with the people we have in charge.

As for Brisbane, it was just good to be able to return the favour from Beams last year.
