In order to get pick 20 you would need to not trade Tim Kelly for a top 10 pick. Unless you think we are going to find one of those and package it with pick 20.

My point exactly. Reckon dees would prefer 6 and 12 rather than 5 and 16. Doesn't effect dockers as they are trading out the picks anyway and GWS get pick 20 rather than 21.

Freo took two Victorians in the top five last year, in four of their last five drafts they've taken Eastern Staters with their first pick. I doubt that'll worry them too much.
They'll want to get back into the draft somewhere before 81 though.

I'm aware of how those scenarios would play out, but I've been told many times that it will be for at least a top 10 pick. Definitely makes it a lot easier if your own pick 12 is now included in that...

Send us pick 50 back and I'm reasonably happy with that.
I think Freo then ask for something back from Melbourne in addition to Hogan, if they send them 6 and 12.

My only actual dealing with Geelong fans IRL (other than seeing a small pocket of them at our home games) is going to a game at Kardinia Park. They were probably more friendly than your average Victorian footy fan, probably due to being a smaller population and the ground being smaller so there weren't 50,000 empty seats. Seemed like perfectly nice people, one of them even gave me a homemade Anzac biscuit. I'm guessing that particular bay don't post ITT.

And if they did, presumably because they reappointed their list management team from the 1990s, no way we give up pick 6 for Kelly.

That trade values Kelly between 9 and 10 in magic beans points. 20 and 22 values him pick 5-6.
I imagine there will be many cross Geelong fans if the Cats lose Kelly and pick 12 this trade period.
Whatever we trade that ends up being on traded isn't our business, though. Any pick could be traded for another player or used to draft a 300 gamer or potato.

If we were to get pick 5 and get 1 of the highly rated kids, moving from 12 to 22 wouldn't be a big deal. After 10 they are all about as good as each other anyway.

If Lobb goes for pick 32 after we traded pick 39 for Hickey I will cry mixed tears of laughter and sadness.
