They usually save the marquee trades for the last day don't they. Expect most of them have been done already the AFL just wants to announce them today
Yep they aren’t allowed to announce trades today until this afternoon.

Just another ridiculously stupid AFL creation. The vast majority of the trade period this year has been nothing and just when things ramped up yesterday they stop it.

The Gold Coast pick giveaway continues

Pick 6 and 23 for Rioli

Must be nice to have guaranteed top 10 players coming through year in year out that you don’t need top 10 picks for

Richmond with 8 of the first 24 picks as it stands. Got to give it to them, they're not ****ing around.

I though Adrian Dodoro was a living god in the trade period every season.

Richmond have blown this trade period out of the water.

Dodoro could only dream of doing half the stuff Richmond has done during this trade period

Luke Parker and Jacob Konstanty sent to North for pick 44. Konstanty was taken by Sydney with pick 20 in the 2022 draft but didn’t play a senior game - goes to show Sydney don’t get every pick right. (GWS drafted Darcy Jones with the next pick)

North also traded pick 25 for Caleb Daniel

And we’re done for this years trade period

For the record West Coast ended with:

Out - Barrass, Darling, 3,63,F4
In - Graham (FA), Baker, Owies, 12,73, F1, F2 F3 all tied to Hawthorn

We go to this years draft with 13,26,73,81 and have 2xR1,R2,R3 picks in 2025 - ours and Hawthorn

Time to buy a Hawthorn voodoo doll
