I think we need to win this week and then I think it's all systems go for a top 4 berth. At 10 wins we only really need 3 of 8 to make it, so we're nearly there, but we have a tough last month so I wouldn't want to jinx us.

Win this week, put ourselves in the 4, and then from there it is our spot to lose.

Percentage will be the key, all the predictors have us in a battle for 2-5th spot based on percentage. We need to pick some up along the line. The Saints had a bad game against Sydney, but have kept games relatively tight apart from that so whilst I hope it's this week, I'd just be happy with any win.

I'm not sure how the Giants are going to go this week, but I hope the WCE crash continues and they find a way to pinch a win in the West.

Sydney losing tonight was huge for us. We play Collingwood and West Coast so we have destiny is our own hands in a way in terms of playing them. If we run the table from here we are 100% guaranteed of a top 2 finish now. 1 loss probably see's us top 2 and 2 losses we're still a top 2 chance pending percentage.

Looking at Squiggle. It's likely we'd only need to go 5-3 from here to finish top 2, extremely do-able. However we'd need to gain percentage.

The one loss to Sydney took them from predicted top 2/3, to 6th, and jumped Geelong up as a top 4 contender.

We also went from 4th on percentage to 3rd in predictions

Every game will be critical now.

5-3 leaves us on 15 wins, unlikely to finish top 2 with that record and could potentially miss top 4 as well. With all the injury issues our upcoming opponents have we really need to bank 6/7 wins from here.

we have to win the ones we are expected to - that mean St K, Freo, WB and GWS.

Then we have 4 tough games - WCE, COLL, Adel and ESS.

If we are realistic about top 4 we need to win 2/4 of those 'tough' games.

Richmond lose tonight and the season is blown wide open - we have to take our chance this year.
