I'm struggling to keep up with all this

Keeffe Schade McCarthy Mackie all gone (as well as White?). Extremely interesting developments. Makes you wonder if we havent got a huge trade up our sleeves to land at least one quality kpp as well as retaining pick 6

Thomas and Cox promoted off rookie list.

White announced his retirement ages ago.

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

Keeffe & Schade were upgraded...as 39 & 40 players on list (we only had 38 when we upgraded them).
Hence our senior list is at 37 as it stands, with White retired.
Although may upgrade Cox for 2018, so 38.
Still 2 or 3 delisting to come (or players traded out).

Yep another 2-3 delistings/trades.

Pretty sure we have to upgrade Cox, given he has signed a three year contract.

Keeffe was a senior list player , promoted permenantly earlier in the year.

So far off the senior list

Out Keeffe White
In Thomas Cox

Rookie list
Out Thomas Cox (promoted)
Out Mackie McCarthy Schade

So at at today no spots on senior list and five on rookie list (although thats rubbery because the rules are flexible)

You'd obvioulsy expect to see more senior list changes going forward....we need at a minimum m to spend pick 6 at the draft!

Dropping Sier to the rookie list is one
Delisting more senior players (Blair, Oxley, Sinclair) another avenue
Trading players (Fasolo, Greenwood (hasnt been mentioned at all), Aish)

Fair enough we could discuss the interpretation of cultural revolution but let's not, it is history. At least you are not as dogmatic as Black and White.

Yeah I know.......@jackcass asked the same question you did.

I told him the short answer because I could give you both a very long answer.

At least Black_White will be half happy tonight ;)

Delisted Free Agents would be my guess.

Whats your thoughts on this ?

We need to at some point move some dead wood without just replacing it with more short term dead wood, how we achieve this I'm not sure but it just seems a little directionless. IMO.

I think Watts would of addressed a need

I don't think devon smith was a huge priority but i do believe he's a massive upgrade on Blair.

Im just a little confused as to what the plan is. But Im holding out hope that , thats exactly what the club are trying to do and have a couple of tricks planned.

Half happy, only one down, won’t rest to the other is gone.

Not correct surfer1...... Keeffe and his mate Thomas were part of the Culture Revolution Fail.

When Eddie said we made mistakes in the past the culture cleansing was number one in that regard.

The hypocrisy of keeping these two blokes on the list was not lost on me back then.

It was done to appease their "innocent mates" not because of their ability.

Thomas has been promoted purely due to effort and form. Glad he and Keeffe got a second chance. He needs to kick on next year but even with Keeffe failing it was worth it. Rookie list success rate is less that 50% as Schade McCarthy and Mackie will testify. One of these boys suceeding is a win.

I don't think Thomas will succeed as we have discussed in the past together.

Happy to be proven wrong.

I'm not exactly sure what Collingwood were thinking keeping Keeffe on the list during his drug ban. There was more chance of Carlton winning the premiership then Keeffe making it at a AFL level.

McCarthy delisting a bit stiff, but there is probably more to it such as injuries.

Schade actually showed a bit at the start of the year? Nothing great but would of been a handy backup considering how thin we are for KPP.

Honestly, I'm just glad the club is finally making decisions that will move our club forwards and not just hover around the same mark as we have been.

So just caught up on the list changes news. Does that leave anyone on the rookie list other than Thomas and Cox who are expected to be upgraded?

The more I think about it the more I am hoping we do have a quiet off season this year in terms of player movement. For the last couple of years we have turned over about a quarter of the list each offseason and you so often here coaches talking about how important familiarity is to successful team. Really for the last couple of years we have been constantly having to adjust to the influx of new players to the squad. A quieter offseason with less changes might allow the team to settle and become familiar with each other which may help a lot of areas including skill level.

Does your belly button reciprocate your feelings or is a form of unrequited adoration?

My belly button does what its told. Just like my peachy firm ass.

Out of curiosity.. how many of these hack talls have we recruited that have been shit.. McCarthy Paine Lynch Gault Keefe etc.. when the f are we gonna get a tall out of the blue just come f good for once FFS. How much bad luck can one have.. surely too god! F!

So one poster said Cameron to lions, schache to pies, 36 and aish to crows..... surely not Hahahah we'd be laughing and I'm not even keen on shache but to get rid of aish and only 36 for schache we'd be laughing
