Ohhh popcorn popcorn the Dees and Drug Cheats just paid overs.

Massive overs for Lever, glad we didn’t go for him.

Dees have a pretty complete list across all positions now though.

They’ll be breaking out the caviar and cheese boards.

Sent picks 7 & 8.

We still paid more.
Depends on Melbournes finish next year really, and they got 35 back instead of 28 like we did.

Still incredible overs for a 3rd tall defender.

It was a caller calling into Trade Radio firs

IT was a caller calling into trade radio that first suggested it and poor old simple Cooney couldn't even wrap his head around what the caller was suggesting.

Id do it in a heartbeat Mayne and Future 3rd rounder. See Ya Later

Rip the band Aid off ..... Ensure Gubby neverrrrr returns

Yeah the caller suggested (as an example only) that Sydney could send Tippett and his formidable salary and a first or second rounder to North in exchange for a fourth rounder and Cooney was like "But North don't need Kurt Tippett..."

Of course they don't Coons, no one does! The caller had specifically said it was a move designed to fix the salary cap in one swoop.

Chris Pelchen said yesterday that this sort of deal would begin happening soon and fans would find it "confronting" and might struggle to understand it.

Turns out they don't need to worry about fans struggling with the concept, it's the "experts" who need it explained to them.

Problem there is you calling Cooney an expert, and should never do that

Lever and Treloar trades pretty comparable. Melb getting a 3rd back is the main difference (pick numbers vary with the ladder). Treloar had shown more, but Lever is arguably a KP.

Time will tell, which is best, but I'm glad we didn't do the Lever deal based on our previous trades (moving firsts recently) and questions whether Lever can hold KP especially with others on our list a similar type.

Ade - 10, 1st (2018), 4th (2018)
Melb - Lever, 35, 3rd (2018)

GWS - 7, 1st (2016), 65
Coll - Treloar, 28
