Brown was (at least in part) screwed by the club. Griffen hasn't just had his best season, only to be rewarded with a lesser contract.

Let's sack our 3 best players because they dislike the coach is an absolutely asinine statement. Without the senior players we have nothing. Griff is our best performer week in week out, Minson had an AA year as a ruckman and has been doing it alone for the past 3-4 years and Cooney is a former Brownlow Medalist. We need players like these to stay, to entice young players and also give us a bit of seniority.

I seriously cannot support the club anymore if Griffen stays on. He could have gone to the club and said i have changed my mind, I can't play under macca anymore and neither can others. Then we could have had a clean break. But going public and not telling the club. Wow. He needs to go no matter what. And he is picking Sydney as he will cop the less heat there.
