Some decent posts have been casualties of war, and for that, I apologise. But pages and pages of irrelevant posts are incredibly mind numbing for those who are reading this thread for things that it is actually used for.

How tall do you want him to be he's 195cms?
Not slow at all, and Morris also has sub-standard skills.
Talia can develop into a quality backman, whether that's at our club or not remains to be seen.

at his height, talia's gotta be quicker and more agile. at his speed, he's gotta be roughie height and monster guys. he could end up a nick maxwell type, except his disposal is poor and decision making can be sketchy - not the prototype for a peel-off defender.
morris' skills aren't flash. but he'd smoke talia on nous, competitiveness, speed (even at his age), versatility, work-ethic and application to training.

i don't see talia projecting as anything other than serviceable, whether it's for us or another team. i think that with his skill set and attributes, he needs nick maxwell / dale morris / tony liberatore dedication and drive to excel. i'm not sure he's got it.

- Hrovat won't be traded.
- Talia's going nowhere (although if Mofra is to be believed, Jones is as good as gone).
- We'll select a tall with our first pick in the national draft, we'll likely get Foster, and we'll have the opportunity to rookie a player or two to invest in.
- We're almost certain to select Zaine Cordy, who is a tall defender (more suited to be a running back AFAIC, but he's tall and will grow/fill out).
- We could yet trade in talls that will play a role and not cost too much - Jaksch, Bellchambers, etc.

The prospect of most of these is enough to put me in a good mood.
