Harris Andrews, Stratton, Carlisle, the McGoverns, etc

Yep Adams could be one - hope he stays. Interesting to see the latest batch come on.
Stratton Carlisle and older McGovern been around for a while. I'm talking recent drafts. Harris Andrews, I think I bought a pillow and a non stick frying pan in that shop.

So what do we think our offer to re-sign Adams is?

Has to be a priority. Our backline with him and Wood attacking in the air looks great.

Neither Cordy nor Roberts have proven they have what it takes and Collins looks miles off.

Resigning him is as big of a priority as signing JJ

I get it re Adams. Definite priority. But to suggest Cordy and Roberts haven't proven they have what it takes is farcical. May I suggest you watch the 2016 finals series !!

Adams contract could be anywhere between 300-500k. The longer he plays, the higher that number will go.

Once again Stevo on AFL Game day just said Essendon are into JJ

I love JJ but if he is going and we could get S May, then I think this would be a win for the club overall. Ideally keep JJ and
get S May.

I think Murphy and M Boyd will retire and hopefully Morris plays on.

Adams to re sign as will Dale, Webb, Dunkley and some of the other younger players.

Collins- is too slow in my opinion and I am 40 and could still run faster than him. Was great at 17 but against men in the high paced
AFL he will never make it IMO. DELIST

Crameri- I think we will offer him basement contract and if someone comes knocking we will allow a trade for a 3rd rounder

Others we will Delist which I think most agree on are- Honeychurch (if he does not get in this week after 36 and 4 goals) then this is
a sure thing, Hamilton- Never showed much, Prudden- Never showed that much IMO

Neither playing at the moment
Roberts came in for the prelim and GF. Has been ok this year but currently not in our side
Cordy played the finals series as a forward

My point being if Adams leaves and we have Roberts and Cordy as our only key defenders it's a fairly bleak position to be in

Adams won't go. Relax. Adams/Roberts/cordy are fine. Collins is being written off but folks forget he was drafted as a bottom ager and is still only NINETEEN!! (Despite looking 35). Couple of decent talls developing in vfl as well.

Anyone else notice Eddie blowing a wad over Bailey Dale yesterday? Pies seriously love him.
Hine has been a big fan for a long time, Fronk, I know that much. They were filthy we jumped in a few picks before them. If he can keep this form up he very quickly becomes a must-sign proposition.

Geez, he looked great yesterday - had time when most others didn't, broke tackles and hit targets. Amazing what some self confidence can do!
EDIT - watched the highlights with my son this morning and Bailey Dale was in almost all of them.

Dale could be the streaming hbf we need to replace Bob. Yesterday pretty much confirmed it to me.

Massive call to drop Bob. Personally don't see it happening from a morale and also a playing viewpoint.

Am concerned about his increasing turnovers off half back. Do think he can play a role forward. His vision and use would still be an asset. Just don't see his current form and apparent pace drop allows him to safely play HB.

Could get tricky if his form tails further though IMO.
