My view is the way we announced it so publicly, not have the coach be the one to deliver the news (apparently) has made it really hard for the club and player to reconcile should we get bad offers.
But as I said, if we can hold our nerve the pressure goes on the other clubs to make a deal or risk missing out on a star that doesn’t come up often for trade.
