No I didn’t and won’t watch the final qrt . I never booed Goodes but do not accept everyone that did was racist.

We will agree to disagree.

The best corporate environment is created by the best people. Not quotas or ratios. The best working environment could indeed be all females and if you think paying one person more than another due to their race isn’t racism then I have no words for that mate.

Now we NEED to attract indigenous players? How about we attract the best players regardless where they come from? That being road of lbw to see us have some decent indigenous kids but not just to tick an agenda box

If you think that’s impressive then more power to you and the bombers aren’t giving him 650k for that exact reason

I am not arguing for quotas, simply getting a hold of talented players.

As Simon Dalrymple is quoted as saying, the talent pool for AFL players is getting smaller not bigger, so we need to be sourcing the best players however we can. If not having aboriginal players on the list stops us getting aboriginal players then you have to break the cycle and if paying more for a player helps resolve that then why not?

The premise of the Final Quarter was that booing of Adam Goodes was a continuation of the dreadful history that aboriginal people have had since European settlement.

So telling us all we need to feel guilty for what happened two hundred years ago and happened in nearly every other civilisation on earth?

Sorry mate I will treat people how they deserve to be treated regardless race and history will not dictate how I do that.

I am not advocating a black arm band approach to history.

We need to attract the best players. However we do it is a means to an end.

That is exactly what I’m saying Mate

It would be great to have some indigenous players that excite. I loved watching Lully Bamblett and Magic McLean when I was a kid. Magic was my fav player.

But not for twice what they are worth and not if they aren’t the best we can get.

I’d love to get Magic back to the club in the role Brett Goodes was doing .

He is basically an elder I the North it would be a guarantee that we could attract some indigenous kids

I strongly suggest doggies fans download the Nab League app for your phone. You can watch highlights of every game of Jamarra Ugle-Hagan or Marra as he is known. Only 17 yr old 194 cm has kicked 17.6 in 6 games for the Oakley Chargers. His highlights are pretty amazing for a kid playing against 18 yr olds
