Hobdog is having a baby tonight, his first...that is pretty big trade news. He's even going to log into Big Footy while his partner is in labour so he doesn't end up behind like you dogwatch
I love his dedication to the cause. No doubt he'll be updating his partner between breaths.

Good luck Mr and Ms Hobdog !

We’re into hospital tonight for the induction of our first baby. Slightly s*itting myself but will be using BigFooty.com as one of my distractions (in between massages for my wife) tonight while we have hours to burn.

If it’s a boy name him Josh but just do it in pencil in case you need to change it next week!

Good luck hope it all goes well

Daniel,Naughton, Bont, Dunkley, Macrae, Hunter, Smith, Wallis would all walkin in starters in all then guys like Libba, Williams, Crozier, Keath would walk into most
I don't think so. Bont & Macrae likely, Dunkley & Smith and perhaps Daniel possible, none of the rest. The Bulldogs finished eighth but were a long, long way from top level. We're simply not that good.

Genuine question. Essendon will end up with 7, meaning they'll have 6 and 7.

Dunkley and 12 for 6 and 7.

6 and 7 to Adelaide for 1.

Get the second best kid in the draft + Jamarra.

Then acquire the services of Treloar somehow.

Edit: 2021 1st for Treloar.
Can’t see why the crows would do this without getting something else

From AFL.com.au

“Adelaide is also understood to have enquired about pick No.12 from the Western Bulldogs, who are looking to trade down the draft order due to their first-round selection likely being absorbed when it matches a bid for highly-rated Academy prospect Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.

INDICATIVE DRAFT ORDER Your club's picks as they stand

Along with picks No.1 and No.8, the Crows also have selections No.20, 29, 44, 50, 60, 74 and 92”

Unless something changes, expect 12 and a future 2nd and 3rd, to be traded for 20, 29 and a future 3rd.

Many may be surprised to know I can be negative at times BUT I think we lost Min 3 games this year due to Bevs selections and especially playing one ruck.

We win those games we are top 4 with what I think is an ordinary list past the first 14-16 players.

Our depth is among the worst on the league so if we can add 2-4 players to our best 22 I don’t think we are miles off UNLESS injuries hit

Confused why we would include a future 2nd

Yuck. Don’t love that.

Effectively 12, 30ish, 45ish for 20, 29 & 38ish.

I know Glaeken Oracle or Sentinel suggested we read recent posts before asking questions but ...

I last checked this thread late this morning, around 11:30. I just re-opened it and it has moved on 13 pages. That's over 300 posts.

Sorry, but I'm just not going to read them all. Life is too short.
Instead I'm going to respectfully ask if anything has actually happened today. Or is it just another 300+ spitball posts?

A one or two line summary would be wonderful if anyone cares to indulge me. Or even one word - "no" - if appropriate.
Thanks in anticipation.

He was dead the whole time :ghost:

Even at such a crucial time still showing greater commitment to keeping up than dogwatch ;)

Let’s just say hypothetically we trade pick 12 with the crows or any other club and trade down very early in trade week - does that pretty much end any chance to deal Dunks and shuts out the bombers?

I think you're underestimating Hunter. I can't think of a team with 2 better wingers than him. Pretty sure he'd walk into every side in the league

Puke. That is awful

Just had a look myself.

The 25 hitout game from Cox was against Ryder in his prime, he was All Australian that year. Ryder had 31 hitouts, 9 disposals and a goal that game and wasn't anything special by the looks of it. In the Geelong game he was up against Zac Smith and got the better of him.

English was destroyed against a much older Ryder, so that's something.
And important to note that these were in his 18th, 19th, 20th games in a code he had never played a few years earlier. Has had a few years and 50 extra senior games of development since then.

Attachment shows what Rendell had to say about his ruck work.

I've watched a couple of his highlights vids ... there's only a handful of examples of his ruckwork in those, but he looked pretty good, he definitely knows what he's doing.

For a lowish trade cost, I'd take the shot. Can't think of another option that is realistically gettable at a reasonable price.

That would mean we are just trading 12 for 20 as the rest basically even themselves out

Fail
