How would you go about this type of situation? How do you approach a gun who wants to stay to begin talks of potentially putting on trade table?
We would clearly need to be deep into chats with another player of need before any initial conversations can be had with an existing player.
Last thing we need is putting a player on table and then the trade falls through.
I understand the need for more power for clubs, but putting a happy player on the table can create all sorts of culture problems.
