Do you think Carlton were in the wrong for sacking Angwin?
If you're on half a mill per year and you're loafing & a bad influence on others, I'm not willing to give that a free pass.

As a supporter base, we should demand a minimum of professionalism from players
Well, the story of Laurence Angwin, is that he was with two other players that night, one a forward star, but he was the only dummy that turned up for training the next morning. He was let go to protect the star, who was hastily traded further down the track. So no, Carlton are not a good example.

With picks 8 and 11 we could rebuild our back line or rejuvenate our midfield. Our forward line is okay except for another small or two.

I've cooled a bit with my frustration with losing dunks.

I prefer to keep Dunks BUT if he goes we will be okay provided the club addresses support for Bev especially assistant coaches.

We need to address that as that impacts all our list.

The questions of culture is something I find extremely alarming.

It’s something we have been trying to address for the best part of 10 years and it would seem we still don’t have it right.

I would’ve thought 95% of our players would be clean skins.

Apparently Josh Dunkley will be on 7 news tonight.

He's doing a Tom Boyd, and foregoing his career and $$$ to run his pub in Gippsland. Will run an influencer gig on the side on cooking tips, and creating boring podcasts.

Those hubs were obviously a bit prison-like back in 2020.

Yeah, it would have been truly awful to be spending months on the sunny Gold Coast, earning a fortune doing your job while the rest of us were in lockdown and under curfew in the freezing cold Melbourne winter...

Maybe the Labrador having 15 puppies story fell through and Ch 7 is scrambling for another story to advertise and get the viewers in - “tonight Josh Dunkley tells how he hopes to decide soon”.

Sounds like a Tom Browne fence sitting, maybe this will happen, maybe it won't, potentially, I think, if everything lines up, according to my sources, maybe type 'exclusive'.

In other words complete bulltish.

Having your bed made, having all your meals cooked for you and the rest

Awful. As awful as getting on your high horse and being able to moralise over two guaranteed jobs paying somewhere between $650k and $750k+ guaranteed over multiple years..terrible position to be in...

Dunkley was our best player by a long way in the second half of the year.

If there’s any truth of him working out because of cultural issues then our door is probably shut for some time as this has to be addressed.
Not sure about that.
Its not like we dominated anyway

My post was in reference to the comment by Mofra about the Bulldogs being labelled the 'tennis ball club'.

Tennis balls sometimes make their way over prison walls. I'm sure you can work out why.
