Adelaide media (SEN) reporting that Dunks is held up nominating Ken's ballerinas because he wants to assure the trade will go through unlike with Essendon.

Football media in Australia are woeful, and Adelaide football media still manage to give the rest of them a bad name.

He can't crack their back 6 might be a bit too simplistic. They have one of the best back 6's in the comp, and had very few injuries down there this year. Pearce, Cox, Ryan, Chapman and Young and a very impressive group and adding Logue there makes them too tall. He's a really solid back who can play on mediums and talls successfully, forced to play fwd due to the Dockers lack of healthy tall fwd options but he is a below average fwd IMO.

Basically surplus to Fremantle's needs as a key back, but would likely be our best or close to it as a very solid B+ KPD. He's still pretty young and developing too when you considering how long KPPs take a lot of the time.

Whoever we could pick up in a trade, Logie or Gardiner or xxx, can we get Dale Morris back as a dev coach for our kpd guys. I believe he would develop what we have , newbies and tradesinto the dogs.

I was kinda hoping that it was Naughton, he had to fix his hair a bunch of times in the final and it was shitting me to tears.

And for good reason they don't. He makes Steven Koops look like a superstar in comparison. Watched him play for Peel on the weekend in the WAFL elimination final. He was invisible. Nuff said with a total of 4 kicks for the game.

Players that could come cheap come cheap for a very good reason.

This blokes complete lack of impact on a football game is the main one.

Yeh I guess if may continue to trend upwards and improve, but he just feels more like a Tom Williams-esque type guy. Teases with all the physical attributes but will never put it together for whatever reason.

Interested to hear what position they were playing him? The article I read mentioned they were trying him on a wing as he wasn't best 22 as a small forward. He's a top 10 draft pick who's maybe struggling with a new position and down on confidence. Not to pile on but i'd prefer to take on that kind of low risk high reward type than giving games to McComb, Roarke Smith, Vandermeer etc. Adds to team balance by recruiting a specialist forward also.

Looking more like Brisbane, they won’t have an early first round pick.
Darcy Gardiner as a Morris type defender and a late first round pick might be the best we will get.
Comes out of contract this year.

I'd take that but if Gardiner is out of contract and a free agent then we should just take him as a free agent and get someone else as a trade

This, he was a top 10 pick for a reason and is in a position of need. Not that that means he’ll live up to his potential but a change of scenery may be what he needs.

Decent player but I'd be asking for Payne or Lohmann in the first instance if a player is going to be included.

I would have though Jones wipes out compo as well

We live the same nightmare. After Bont's third half way through the third i was celebrating in the isle with strangers. Went for a p@@s and came back to them being up by a goal. F@@k that and the steroids the Dees took at half time that took approx 17mins to kick in.

That aside, OS is a great place to watch the footy...

On paper your theory is good, but having seen him live a few times this year - at AFL and WAFL level - he just doesn't seem to possess the appetite for the contest. I much prefer watching Roarke crack in and take the odd hanger - kick a clutch goal - than a player with all the talent skirt the packs without any impact.
