Hunter is the symptom not the disease.
Cutting Hunter is akin to cutting Stringer,
I have a real issue with the way Toyd was managed by the club which, I believe, had a huge impact on his decision to quit the game. With a stronger club leadership structure he could have stuck around and ended up being a dominant forward/ruck. Missed opportunity there, IMO, looking back to how Stringer & Dahlhaus were not told to pull their heads in.
Ive thought there was a lot more to the Hunter situation than the previous drink driving charge, this club suffers from the old problems of lack of club leadership which saw it implode after the 54 flag. Same thing is happening again IMO, just in different ways.
