I could be wrong. But I reckon JJ kicked more goals as a back pocket than a forward pocket.
I reckon he has heaps of potential as a forward threat. Has kicked a goal or more in all 4 finals he has played in as a forward. Two this year against Freo. Has kicked just under a goal a game the last two years.

If he gets some continuity and some chemistry in the position could easily be a 20-30 goal kicker, which is fine for a small forward.

He kicked 15 goals in 25 games last year.

We need pace. Anyone keen on Jayden Hunt?

Oh my ******* god, you campaigners don't get it. We were with Williamstown for a good five years before Ben Brown got drafted.

Every single ******* time "Oh my god how could we miss out on Barlow when he was under our nose" when he didn't even ******* join Werribee until we were gone. The only two that we truly *ed up on were Podsiadly and Hudson.
You forgot to mention Dane Rampe:

I'm sure its been stated a few times, but the lesson is pretending the exit interview was all good helps trying to bargain for a good contracted player, vs letting the world know he is out the door no matter what.

Yep great pick up. Didn't think of that.

He never had a medical with us and the Club is not interested at all.
That bullsh1t story was probably leaked by his manager to drum up some interest in his client.
This is 100% correct he never did a medical. He is open to being traded but said the dogs haven't even spoken to him. The only incorrect part is that it was leaked by his manager, his manager actually rang him up to ask him if he did a medical at the dogs without telling him after reading the bs reporting. Goes to show we need to take a lot of this crop from places like zero hanger with a grain of salt.

We need more defenders than just Jones.

It was Mark Steven’s wasn’t it? He’s generally bang on with dogs intel..

Next year it will be Scott, McNeil, McComb and Sullivan wearing premiership medals.
It's basically written in stone at this point.

FWIW the approach to pick up Footscray VFL players isn't too far removed from the manner in which we landed Liam Picken and Dale Morris who spent time under our eyes at Werribee/Williamstown when we were affiliated with them at different times. It's a crap system which only ever picks up duds, until it isn't.

I'm somewhat underwhelmed by JJ re-signing. I think he has more to offer but he really needs to pull his finger out. In many recent games, indeed seasons, he has been more of an observer than a participant. As one of the few players on our list with genuine speed we need more intensity from him to get the ball more often.

It's disappointing because throughout the preseason he looked in shape and was cracking in, then he did his hammy round 1 and boom.
