I'm about Sam's age and I clearly remember his first game for us in 2002 at Optus, I think it was against Freo. He was a skinnier, fresh faced kid who looked painfully shy and awkward (like me). Poor bloke looked like he would never need to shave.

I look at him now, unshaven and drawn and think 'Am I really that old?' 😂

Quick. Lift the carpet made of dollars and get the broom!

No doubt all smoothed over by a water tight NDA

This ******* game is rotten to its core.
With what is going on around the world it makes me feel that all is not right. But there are always people everywhere who want to do the right thing. Yes, it is appalling what happened but chin up. Things never turn out as bad as they seem.

Not sure if I like that. He signed the contract. Essentially threatening to be a destabilising influence on the group isn't a great look. What if he decides he doesn't want to be at the club the says midway through his contract with us?

For all Dunkley has been ragged on here over the past few weeks, at least he was happy to show up and knuckle down when he didn't get his way.
The truth is that players move clubs all the time. Player movement will be even bigger in the future.

I would prefer Stocker or Frederick. Especially if dogs are into Clarke.

Yeha doesn’t make sense if we are also into Clarke as a small forward. But I guess more the merrier. Can’t expect much from a draftee also.
But would rather us just stick with Clarke.

Bought my membership today.

Before committing to it I wanted to see if changes would be made in the off season in the coaches box and playing list and they have.

Next year can't come quick enough.

Do you know if it’s possible to adjust your membership package online or do you need to call them?

I made it quite clear my thoughts on Rowe as a footballer but I’m sorta coming along to the idea. A small forward who doesn’t pressure isn’t ideal in the slightest but admittedly he is a natural crumber and a good finisher which is what we’re lacking and need pretty desperately with our new forward line. He will add something different and would much prefer that over a McComb type whose a kid not a forward.

Give him his last shot and see if he can squeeze any more athletically out of himself over the preseason & make it known if he does not chase & tackle he will not play AFL again and who knows could be a good freebie as there will be a heap of opportunity for him in our forward line.

Cody & Rowe the goal kicking smalls, West & McLean the tackle machines, and JJ with the speed & class. Cody, West & Tobes are very very good defensively even if they’re not necessarily the quickest smalls around. I think that mix is right.

Every other player in our forward line alongside the big trio needs to be a genuine small, no Hannan hybrids pls
We can draft another one too but I’m not sure we have the picks for Clarke, think there will be better options on the board & he won’t slip to 39
