It’s a ridiculous hypothetical that I think has next to zero chance of playing out, but for fun’s sake if it were to happen I’d bet on the Eagles looking to split pick 1 into two or more first rounders and keep one or two for themselves. Eg trade it for 4 & 5 from GWS or 10, 15 and a future first from Melbourne and trade one or two of those picks and/or a future first for him.

In today's landscape about 95% of players get to go where they want to go and a trade is done. Look at Dunkley he fell in to the 5% only to lose him 2 years later for probably less that what bombers would have given us and that was after him coming off a B&F. What Tim owes us if he has made up his mind he wants to go home at contract end is to tell us now so we get maximum trade value, even if that is moving one year before contract end.

C'mon man, a 25yo Ruckman just coming into his AA level peak years for a 32yo who has always had issues getting his body right, managing 8 games in 2 seasons.

A future 3rd is next to nothing. Worst trade ever

English resigned 12 months ago guys if he wanted to go that bad the Girlfriend has been in WA the whole time.

The market sets itself for a 26y/o AA ruck.

Keep in mind many on this board have questioned English along his journey and are now very quiet given hes reached the potential we all saw in him.

If he makes a decision to leave the club wont be left wanting for compensation.
